Sunchine Inspection is officially appointed by Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control (COSQC) of the Republic of Iraq as an approved and authorized Conformity Assessment Body (CAB) to issue the CoC certificate for regulated products before exporting them into Iraq according to the applicable Iraqi standards as defined and adopted by the COSQC which is housed within the Ministry of Planning of Iraq.
Sunchine inspection will begin officially to provide conformity assessment , pre-inspection, testing and issuance of the certificate of conformity (COC) services for the export of regulated goods and product to Iraq from September 1, 2024 onwards.
There are over 1000 individual products encompassing 12 categories which are regulated under the Iraqi Conformity Assessment Programme (CAP).

For every of the regulated products intended to be exported to Iraq, all exporters/importers must present a Certificate of Conformity (CoC) and a Release Note to Iraqi Customs to be able to enter them into Iraq through the country’s ports and borders. Only conformity assessment bodies approved by COSQC such as Sunchine Inspection can provide this certificate. The COC certificate should be issued in in the respective Country of Supply.
